MEET THE DAYCARING FAMILY

“With love and guidance our DayCaring family shares the goal of helping each child grow to their full potential and become creative thinkers, confident explorers and responsible future citizens of the world.”

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

GENEVIEVE

A Marin County native and mother of two amazing boys I have been a proud member of the DayCaring Family since 2003.
I believe that play truly is a child’s work and cherish the views of the world through the eyes of children. Love, laughter, compassion and wonder. Mud, water, sand and paint. These are the things children’s days should be filled with. The stories they tell, the fun we have and the lessons we learn from each other is what drives my passion for my work.

CARMEL

I am Carmel, a stepmom to two children who were DayCaring kids. I recently moved to Fairfax in 2016 and I am loving our community. I play the guitar, do gardening, and love to do all kinds of crafts. Everyday is a new adventure for me and being with kids gives me the chance to open wider possibilities for them to be creative and curious. I am happy to be part of your child’s adventures and the DayCaring Family.

EVA

I’m Eva, a mother of two boys,
five and nine years old.
Discovery, Love and Magic. These
are the things the children and I
get to experience every day here at
DayCaring and I feel very blessed to
be a part of every child’s day at play.
I have been a proud part of the
DayCaring family since 2008.

MAGGIE

I’m Maggie, I’ve been a substitute at DayCaring since 2009 and am happy to now be a part of the daily teaching team. I’m married and a mother to my son Carlos and daughter Rubi who are both DayCaring kids. The biggest satisfaction of working with children is being able to see their eyes full of wonder. It’s priceless to me to experience the laughter and interesting conversations over the simplest things.
